Kevin Reinoso is the Engineering Manager of DirecTank Environmental Products and Direct Scaffold Supply, with responsibilities including product design and development, sales support, and engineering team management.

Throughout his nearly 20 years in the aboveground storage tank industry, Kevin has developed a considerable breadth and depth of technical and commercial knowledge, having served in a variety of roles.  He has proven himself to be an industry expert in the field of aluminium structures, and he continues to expand his technical abilities in the fields of mechanical and materials engineering.  His background in manufacturing, and his knowledge of the Latin American segment of the business, make him unique as he is equally capable in both the engineering and sales functions.  His leadership is on display daily as he leads and develops his team of junior engineers to their fullest potential, and he sees this as vital to the growth and continued excellence of the company.

Kevin came to the United States from Ecuador in 2008, having worked in engineering and manufacturing roles for Improdtl, an aluminium geodesic structures company.  He started with HMT in 2008 as a Project/Design Engineer and quickly distinguished himself as a creative thinker and capable designer.  In 2011 he was appointed as the Sales Manager for Latin America, and he found immediate success in this role due to his high technical aptitude and his communication and relationship building skills.  In 2015 he accepted the position as Engineering Manager of Direct Scaffold Supply.  During this time, he has been at the forefront of developing new, innovative products, as well as supervising the expansion of the engineering department to meet unprecedented demand and growth.  As the Engineering Manager for DirecTank, Kevin is utilizing his complete skill set of AST industry knowledge and experience as he serves a critical role for the entire DSS group of companies.

Kevin received his Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from The Polytechnic School of Chimborazo-Ecuador.  He completed his Engineering Thesis on Alternative Energy, and his cap stone project on Micro-Hydrogeneration. Kevin is a Registered Engineer in Ecuador, and he has two active patent applications for scaffolding products.
